At the recent round of small project grants, the ICU was again highly successful

Alex Padiglione and Andrew Udy won $9840 to study “Empirical beta-lactam therapy in the Alfred ICU: does current dosing avhieve sufficient drug exposure in high risk critically-ill adults?”

Chris Mason and David Pilcher were awarded $10,000 to study “Pressure injury prediction in the Intensive care Unit (PIPICU)- A predictive model”


Vinodh Nanjayya and Ian Millar $9831 to study “does Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy increase extra-vascular lung water in patients with impaired left ventricular function (HOTLung study)?”
