Earlier this month, The Alfred ICU ECMO team journeyed to Darwin to conduct two ECMO courses at the Royal Darwin Hospital over four intensive days. Our team had the privilege of training a diverse cohort of over 40 Critical Care Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health staff. The comprehensive program included lectures, case-based discussions, simulation scenarios, and hands-on practical sessions with ECMO equipment. We deeply value the opportunity to deliver life-saving training nationwide, contributing to expanded expertise and enhanced patient care. A big thank you to the Royal Darwin Hospital for hosting our team and providing a great group of attendees for the ECMO courses.
