The Alfred Intensive Care Unit hosted the first inaugural Australian Global Neuro Course in Neuro-Emergency Care on 22nd-23rd February 2024.
We were privileged to include an international faculty with Neurosurgery, Neurology, Intensive Care and Trauma specialists.
The course included a combination of lectures, small group workshops and neuro-emergency simulations. Participants had the opportunity to insert an EVD, review artificial intelligence autoregulation programs, read EEGs with neurology guidance, measure optic nerve sheath diameter and review complex neuroradiology. This course also provided a platform to share ideas, discuss current evidence-based practice and review neuro-emergency technology.
