Hot case practice for external CICM trainees

College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) trainees who are not employed by Alfred Health are required to register and obtain approval prior to "hot case" practice at the Alfred ICU.

The Alfred ICU understands the importance of visiting different ICUs to practice “hot cases” as part of the preparation for the CICM Second Part exam. We welcome trainees from other centres to visit the Alfred ICU and encourage them to register for “hot case” practice early due to high demand.

Performing “hot case” practice at the Alfred ICU under supervision requires approval in advance.
